Opreet Kang is a partner with Core Firm, a strategic advisory firm based in Vancouver that is dedicated to driving sustainable impact across communities and organizations. Opreet brings over twenty years of board governance experience, including providing people-centered leadership and strategic solutions through the challenges of COVID-19 as a board member on BC’s largest health authority. She is the Interim Board Chair of the Fraser Health Authority, and a director on the Board of Vancity Credit Union.

Opreet is passionate about transformative change that strengthens our communities, deepens a resilient economy and protects our environment. She has over 25 years of professional and community experience, including senior leadership roles in large, complex organizations and strong governance and financial expertise.
