This fall, you can enjoy instant discounts on select smart thermostats, smart water heater controllers, load controllers, and WaterSense® certified showerheads.

Discounts will automatically be applied at checkout either in-store or online at participating retailers across the province. 

Discounts on showerheads are only available in-store at participating retailers. Discounts on smart thermostats, water heater controllers and load controllers are only available online at participating retailers. Please read all eligibility requirements below before purchasing. Eligible products and requirements: 

• Product must be on our list of eligible thermostats [PDF, 51 KB].  
• Maximum 5 units per approved product, per customer transaction.   
• Must be purchased online at a participating retailer in BC Hydro’s service territory.
• Must be for 120/240V line voltage (electric baseboard) heating. 
• Smart thermostats must be CSA cybersecurity certified.
