Enlist an energy efficiency professional for your project
As a business customer, you may be looking for ways to make your facilities more sustainable and improve your energy management.
Our Alliance of Energy Professionals is a network of registered professionals including consulting engineers and other energy management specialists registered with BC Hydro.
Our members help business customers look at their energy management, install energy-efficient products or electric vehicle charging infrastructure, as well as look for incentive opportunities through BC Hydro.

Don't see the project you're looking for listed above? Request a referral for a particular job and we'll search the Alliance database to find which member firms are suitable to handle the project.
Working with Alliance members
By using an Alliance member, you acknowledge and agree that you're making the decisions on upgrades, services performed, or products used. BC Hydro assumes no liability or responsibility for products installed or the operation of installations performed by an Alliance member.
Alliance member qualifications
Alliance members must meet the following qualification criteria.
- A registered business in British Columbia.
- A minimum five years' experience selling and/or installing energy-efficient equipment.
- A B.C. business license and GST number.
- A WorkSafeBC registration number and in good standing.
- Five customer references (three for energy efficiency projects).
- Samples of energy-efficient projects demonstrating experience in their area of expertise.
- Proof of a general liability insurance policy of not less than $2 million, with BC Hydro named as an additional insured.

After completing the online referral request, you'll be referred to two suitable Alliance members. Then you can choose who you want to work with.
We don't endorse or recommend specific registered contractors, consultants or products, but by working with an Alliance member, you're assured they're knowledgeable in our energy management programs.
