Condo and Apartment Rebate Program

Rebates for energy efficiency upgrades in apartment and condo units
Want to improve the comfort and energy efficiency of your home? Our Condo and Apartment Rebate Program provides rebates for individual condo owners and rental building owners to upgrade space and water heating equipment in their unit.
Who are these rebates for?
This program is intended for you if:
- You own:
- An individual unit in a strata condominium, equity co-op apartment building, or multiplex with six or more units, or
- A purpose-built rental building and you’re looking to upgrade one unit,
- Your unit is currently heated by electricity
- You’re the utility account holder or have a completed consent form from them, and
- You’re planning to install a heat pump or heat pump water heater in your unit.
Additional eligibility criteria apply. Please refer to the rebate pages and program documents below for details.
Note: If you meet the income qualification for CleanBC’s Condo and Apartment Rebates we recommend you apply for that program instead.
