Your bill, explained
If your account is up to date you'll see what you owe and when it's due. This section will also indicate what is due immediately for overdue accounts, as well as current charges.
If you've selected auto-pay for your payments we'll let you know the amount due, and when it'll be withdrawn.

Electricity usage table
A key element to managing your electricity usage is to be able to track it over time. You'll be able to view up to a year of data, and see whether you are using more or less energy compared to the year before. We'll also highlight other key details specific to your rate.
At a glance
We've made these changes to improve our systems and ensure that we will continue to provide reliable and accurate billing for years to come.
With each bill you will receive graphs that indicate your electricity usage. With a MyHydro account, you'll have access to a suite of tracking tools that provide detailed electricity use by month, week, day, and even hour.
Residential bills include our Step 1 and 2 tracker. You can also set up alerts and we'll email you when your electricity use is halfway to reaching Step 2. Learn more about the Residential Conservation rate.
If you have a consolidated account, you can now view and save your bill in a PDF by logging in to your MyHydro account. These bills include further details about your billing and electricity usage in a format that's easier to understand.
You'll also now be able to receive email billing notifications upon creating a MyHydro account.
We'll never send you an email or text message with a link to receive a refund. Unfortunately, fraudsters are continuing to impersonate BC Hydro by sending out phishing emails and texts offering refunds. If you receive one of these, don't click the link. You can report any fraudulent texts or emails you receive to your local police department and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1 888 495 8501.
If you receive a suspicious phone call from someone claiming to represent BC Hydro, hang up and call 1 800 BC HYDRO (1 800 224 9376) to verify the call. Phone spoofying technology can make incoming calls appear as though they're legitimately coming from us, so it's always better to hang up and call us back to confirm.
Remember, we won't text, email, or phone to ask you for any banking or account information. Protect yourself and share this message.
