Nalaine Morin is a member of the Tahltan Nation. She is a principal at ArrowBlade Consulting Services and has led and managed the environmental review of several large resource development projects on behalf of First Nations. Nalaine also serves as a Senior Technical Advisor to Citxw Nlaka’pamux Assembly where she provides project management, technical support, assessment of permit applications, strategic advice and support on development of regulatory and consultation processes.

Nalaine has extensive technical experience in both mining and environmental assessment processes. Her expertise and experience has enabled her to understand and identify methods for the connection and support of both First Nation traditional knowledge and western science, in a way that bridges cultural understanding on both sides.

Nalaine is a member of Geosciences B.C. and currently serves as Director.

In 2018, Nalaine was awarded the Indigenous Trailblazer Award for Women in Mining and also the Aurora Award for Women in Mining B.C. In 2022, she was the recipient of the Corporate Board Directors Award at the Women’s Executive Network’s Canadian Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Awards.

Nalaine holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of British Columbia and a Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. She has recently acquired certification as an Environmental Professional, certified by the Canadian Environmental Certification Approvals Board.
