General Wheeling Service Rates and
Rate Schedule 3817
BC Hydro has an agreement with Fortis BC (Rate Schedule 3817) for the wheeling of electricity over BC Hydro transmission lines, and fees are charged for that service.
The table below shows the annual Wheeling Rate to each Point of Interconnection, calculated as per Rate Schedule 3817 [PDF, 1.03 MB]. The Wheeling Rate is updated annually effective October 1 of each year, a process that started in 2007.
The rate adjustment below is Statistics Canada's B.C. Consumer Price Index annual rate of inflation for July of the calendar year in which the rate adjustment is made.
