First Nations consultation
We are consulting with First Nations, Tribal Councils and First Nations organizations who are interested in resource planning on BC Hydro's integrated system.
Consultation summary
Our consultation will be conducted in two phases. Within each phase, we'll share summary reports, along with the presentation decks and summary notes from the various activities we undertake through consultation.

Consultation in phase one provided First Nations with information on BC Hydro's planning process and gathered your input on values and interests that BC Hydro should include in our decision making on resource options.
We hosted three sessions in June 2024.

Our second phase of consultation will occur through June and July 2025. This phase will gather feedback on the elements of our plan. We have invited First Nations to participate through three channels: a survey, two virtual sessions, and/or virtual one-on-one meetings.
