Designing the Call

Between February and December 2005, BC Hydro undertook the design of the F2006 Open Call for Power including extensive First Nations, stakeholder and IPP community engagement. The documents posted on this page are a chronicle of the iterative design process for the F2006 Open Call for Power. The CFT issued on December 8, 2005 cancels and supersedes all material published by BC Hydro in connection with First Nations, stakeholder and IPP community engagement relative to this Call, and all prior drafts of the CFT. The documents provided on this page are for general information and background only.

September to October 2005 – BC Hydro reached agreement on the F2006 Call with the 2005 Resource Expenditure and Acquisition Plan registered intervenors pursuant to the BCUC’s Negotiated Settlement Process. The BCUC provided an approval of F2006 Call settlement on October 12, 2005. It concluded the regulatory approvals required prior to issuance of the Call.
