We're working towards a brighter future for all British Columbians. Across the province, our Community Team connects with customers and communities to share important information about:

  • Energy conservation – Tips and tools to help you save energy and reduce your electricity bills.
  • Clean energy – Learn how we're powering the province with renewable energy.
  • Electrical safety – Stay safe at home, work, and in your community with our safety resources and demonstrations.

We're proud to engage with people across the province where they live, work, and play.

School presentations for teachers

Teachers across B.C. can book a free, curriculum-connected presentation for their classroom through our Power Smart for Schools program.

These sessions are fun, educational, and age-appropriate, covering topics such as:

  • How electricity is generated and used
  • Ways students can save energy at home and school
  • Electrical safety in everyday life

We offer presentations for elementary school classrooms, and career-focused sessions for older students who want to explore energy-related fields.
