Program details sometimes change

The Home Renovation Rebate Program details can change slightly over time (no more than twice per year) based on factors like changing industry standards, customer participation and more. The information on our website reflects the current program requirements, but if a program change overlaps with your renovation project, we determine your eligibility based on the program requirements that were in effect as of your project invoice date. 

Previous requirements

Upgrades with invoices dated between April 1, 2022 and June 30, 2022 are eligible to apply for rebates per the previous requirements below, as well as the program eligibility [PDF, 233 KB] and terms and conditions [PDF, 170 KB].

Insulation rebate requirements for invoices April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022

Window and door rebate requirements for invoices April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022

*Homes within the City of Vancouver municipal boundary are not eligible for the Tier 1 and Tier 2 rebate.

Heat pump rebate requirements for invoices April 1,2022 to June 30, 2022

Water heater rebate requirements for invoices April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022

Upgrade Rebate Rebate maximum Bonus eligibility 
Heat pump water heater $1,000 Maximum one primary water heating system rebate per home, as part of the Home Renovation Rebate Program, regardless of the number of systems installed. Qualifies as one bonus-eligible rebate
