BC Hydro reaches tentative agreement with union
VANCOUVER – BC Hydro and IBEW 258 have reached a tentative memorandum of settlement for a new two year collective agreement.
IBEW 258 represents approximately 2,000 workers in electrical and related utility trades at BC Hydro. The IBEW’s collective agreement with BC Hydro expired at the end of March.
The union will now put the new tentative agreement to its membership for a vote. The agreement will be presented to the BC Hydro Board of Directors.
Both parties are recommending ratification and further details will be made available after ratification.
