Start a Reduction Challenge between October 15, 2026, and January 15, 2027, and you’ll be eligible for double the reward to $100 when you reduce your electricity use by 10% over 12 months. Income-qualified customers can earn triple the reward to $150.

Start a Reduction Challenge and earn a $100 reward

As a Team Power Smart member, you can take a Reduction Challenge to earn a limited time $100 reward as a bill credit when you reduce your electricity use by 10%. That's double the usual $50 reward.

Eligible households can triple the reward and earn $150 for reducing energy use. Eligibility is based on household income and size.

Visit your Team Power Smart Toolbox to check your eligibility and apply for your triple-the-reward promotion.

How the Reduction Challenge works:

  1. Join Team Power Smart by logging in to your online account. It's free and easy to join.
  2. Start a Reduction Challenge by January 15, 2027.
  3. Reduce your electricity use by 10% over 12 months and you'll earn a $100* reward as credit on your bill. Income-qualified customers can earn triple the reward of $150.

*The $100 and $150 reward is available for a limited time, as part of the double-the-reward and triple-the-reward promotions for successful Reduction Challenges started between October 15, 2026, and January 15, 2027. The usual reward is $50.

Keep earning with a Maintenance Challenge

After successfully completing a Reduction Challenge, you can keep earning and saving:

  • Start a Maintenance Challenge to earn a $25 reward as a bill credit if you maintain your reduced electricity usage for another 12 months, or
  • Start another Reduction Challenge to keep the momentum going.
