Bill is a retired Professional Engineer with more than 40 years of experience in land development and municipal engineering. As Manager of the Commercial and Land Development Sector and Director at Aplin Martin, Mr. Lee oversaw engineering and development services in their Surrey/Vancouver and Toronto branch offices, specializing in commercial, industrial and institutional projects. Bill brings a depth of understanding on the customer, municipal, residential and sustainability/affordability side, among other strengths. Bill led the civil design and construction on numerous LEED certified projects and major development projects including Richmond Centre (Richmond), The City of Lougheed (Burnaby), Coquitlam Centre (Coquitlam) as well as the River Rock / Hard Rock Casinos (Richmond/Coquitlam). Integrally involved in the industry as a past member of Urban Development Institute (UDI), International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and British Columbia Water & Waste Association (BCWWA).
Bill holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
