There were a number of ways for interested members of the public to become involved in, or learn more about, the 2006 IEP process.
Fall 2005 public engagement
The public was invited to become involved in the 2006 IEP process by:
- Participating in regional meetings and public information sessions, where BC Hydro will outline IEP results to date, obtain feedback on the emerging portfolio strategies, outline next steps in the IEP process and seek input for use in future engagement activities. Reading materials, presentations and meeting notes from all public information sessions are posted on this website as they become available.
- Reading the IEP Update, which provides details about IEP activities to date and outlines next steps in the 2006 IEP process.
- Providing feedback by emailing us.
Past IEP public engagement
- In February and March, 2005, public information sessions were held in 15 communities around the province. These sessions, advertised in local papers, provided information about regional perspectives on electricity planning preferences. Reading materials, presentations and meeting notes from all past sessions are now available on this website.
