Local top-ups for multi-unit residential equipment rebates
Rebate top-ups offered for some B.C. communities
Are you planning to upgrade equipment at your multi-unit residential building and apply for rebates? Some B.C. communities can access higher rebate amounts thanks to local offers.
Check out the list below to find current rebate top-ups available.
As a reminder, see the summary of base rebate offers from CleanBC and BC Hydro. More details about base rebates are available in the participant guide [PDF, 3.7 MB].

Heat pumps – multi-split | + $800 per head |
Heat pump – cold climate, central system | + $1,200 per ton of capacity |
Central heat pump water heaters | + $900 per suite served |
Make-up air unit – cold climate | + $2,000 per ton of capacity |
Make-up air unit – with electric resistance supplement | + $1,500 per ton of capacity |
How these top-ups work
There’s no separate application for the rebate top-ups. Simply apply following the online application instructions described here. If approved, and if the building is located in a community providing one of these top-ups, we’ll automatically add the eligible value to your base rebate amount.
These offers are available to eligible rebate applicants on a first come, first served basis.
