Showcase your clean energy story

Two people at work on a project site. Tell us about your company or about a project you were involved with that demonstrates an exceptional energy management solution.

We’ll showcase your story and video to 300,000-plus British Columbians

We’ve been celebrating B.C. companies as Clean Energy Champions for several years, and now we’re taking these stories to the next level. We’re expanding nominations to work being done by Alliance members.

It’s a great way for you to showcase how a business you work with stands out with its solutions to energy efficiency, decarbonization, and energy management in B.C. Each month, we feature a story in our popular Connected newsletter that goes out to more than 300,000 BC Hydro residential customers. We also bring a crew out with BC Hydro spokespersons Dave and Jaclyn to create a profile video we post in our various social media channels.

What does that look like? Here are a few examples of Clean Energy Champions we’ve featured over the past few years:

What’s an Industry Clean Energy Champion, and how to nominate one

We’re looking for active Alliance members with the story of a project or member initiative that demonstrates an exceptional energy management solution, one that could involve a great efficiency solution and/or in combination with steps to decrease fossil fuel use. The champion could be a business owner, professional, resident, municipality, or community group.

We’re taking nominations until March 31, 2026, then showcasing Clean Energy Champions later in 2026.

  • Active Alliance participation: The nominee is an active Alliance of Energy Professionals member who participates in BC Hydro incentive programs.
