BC Hydro at work: Crews at work over Sansum Narrows
BC Hydro crews replace two conductors on a transmission line. Crews are replacing several conductors along a 7,000 foot span of transmission line that crosses Sansum Narrows between Duncan and Salt Spring Island. The current conductors must be replaced.
The project began May 9 on Salt Spring Island and is expected to be completed by Friday, May 24. BC Hydro does not expect local power supply to be affected during the work.
