BC Hydro at work: Crews repair broken power pole
On Wednesday, BC Hydro crews worked in a snowstorm to replace a broken power pole five kilometres northwest of Vanderhoof after a pick-up truck and trailer slid off the road earlier in the day. The trailer landed on its end, up against a BC Hydro power pole, which was broken by the force of the crash. Crews worked to quickly repair the pole carrying a 69,000 volt transmission line.
