Provisions within the Director and Employee Code of Conduct Policy and associated standards and guidelines cover all aspects of bribery, corruption, and ethical behaviour within BC Hydro's operations. Oversight and reporting to the Chair is provided by the Code of Conduct Advisor. While all employees are expected to be aware of BC Hydro's Director and Employee Code of Conduct Policy, an online policy orientation course was introduced midway through fiscal 2009, with a requirement for annual retraining.
In fiscal 2011, approximately 40 per cent of BC Hydro's workforce completed the online training; a decrease over fiscal 2010 numbers.
