Notes:
- GHG intensities are reported in carbon dioxide equivalent metric tonnes per gigawatt hour (t CO2e/GWh).
- The total BC Hydro electricity generation metric corresponds to the GHG emissions from electricity generated at facilities owned and operated by BC Hydro divided by the net electricity generated by those facilities.
- The BC Hydro fossil fuel electricity generation metric corresponds to the GHG emissions from electricity generated at fossil fuel-fired facilities owned and operated by BC Hydro divided by the net electricity generated by those facilities.
- The total electricity generation metric refers to the sum of GHG emissions from electricity generated at facilities owned and operated by BC Hydro and GHG emissions from electricity purchased from Independent Power Producers (reported in EN17), divided by the net electricity generated by those facilities. GHG emissions from electricity imports for domestic use are not included.
- Where historical GHG intensities do not match previously reported values, intensities have been recalculated due to changes in inventory scope and/or improvements in data collection.
