B.C. leads the country in electric vehicle (EV) adoption, but until recently fleet operators were lukewarm on taking the plunge. That's changing with incentives (and vehicle options) growing for fleets. Also this month, four new eligible business types for the Commercial Express program, a shift in social housing incentives to BC Hydro, and an important update on EV charger and EV Ready rebates.

Funding update: Go Electric EV charger rebates

EV charger rebates for single family homes, and EV Ready offers for condos, are almost fully subscribed. Applications will no longer be accepted as of June 15. Federal funding for EV charger rebates will become available for stratas and workplaces only.
