Beginning June 1, 2026, all solar and battery systems must be installed by a Home Performance Contractor Network (HPCN) member for customers to be eligible for BC Hydro rebates. If you're a solar or battery contractor and not yet an HPCN member, join now so your installations continue to qualify for rebates.
As a trusted installer it’s important to understand the self-generation approval process and how your customers can apply for solar and battery energy storage rebates.
