If you buy or lease an electric battery forklift, you could be eligible for a rebate of up to $5,000 through Plug In BC’s Specialty Use Vehicle Incentive Program (SUVI). Some important facts about the program include:

  • Only specified forklift makes and models are eligible. See the list
  • The rebate will be limited to a maximum of 35% of the forklift’s MSRP
  • Fleets are limited to no more than 5 rebates per organization
  • Forklifts must be operated, licensed, and insured in B.C.
  • Applications for the incentive must be received within 90 days of purchasing or leasing the forklift
