Transmission Interconnection Policy - Workshop 1 registration

Join us for a workshop on our transmission interconnection policy.

We're seeking feedback from First Nations, industry and stakeholders on BC Hydro’s Tariff Supplement 6: Facilities Agreement (TS6), and on a new Interim Transmission Service Interconnection tariff.

TS6 standardizes how the costs to connect transmission (large industrial) customers are allocated between the new customer and existing customers, and who is responsible for building any required new infrastructure.

The proposed new Interim Transmission Service Interconnection tariff will allow transmission customers meeting certain conditions to connect to the system earlier while system upgrades are underway to support their full permanent load, subject to additional shedding/curtailment and other obligations.

Your valuable input and contributions will help inform our upcoming applications to the B.C. Utilities Commission.
