Northern
Strong winds on Saturday caused widespread power outages across Northern B.C. All available crews are working around the clock to restore power, and additional crews from the Lower Mainland and Southern Interior are arriving in the region to support the response. We're making good progress, but due to the extent of the damage, customers in Vanderhoof, Granisle, Fort Babine, Smithers, Hazelton, Prince Rupert, and the Nass Valley north of Terrace are expected to remain without power overnight.
