Mesmerizing views, interactive exhibits at Revelstoke

The Revelstoke Dam Visitor Centre is now closed for the 2018 season. We will re-open next year on Saturday, May 18 to welcome visitors to the dam. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Our guests park directly in front of one of the most powerful dams in B.C. You'll have a chance to get up close to the second largest generating facility on the Columbia River. When the powerhouse started generating power in 1984, it produced 1,980 megawatts with four generating units. Since the addition of the fifth unit in 2010, the dam's output increased by 500 megawatts.

With guided or self-guided tours, guests can take in a breathtaking view of the dam and the Columbia River Valley from the dam crest at 175 metres above the river.
