Mesmerizing views, interactive exhibits at Revelstoke

The Revelstoke Dam Visitor Centre, located just a few minutes drive from Revelstoke, is open for the 2017 season from May 20 to September 4.

Our guests park directly in front of one of the most powerful dams in B.C. You'll have a chance to get up close to the second largest generating facility on the Columbia River. When the powerhouse started generating power in 1984, it produced 1,980 megawatts with four generating units. Since the addition of the fifth unit in 2010, the dam's output increased by 500 megawatts.

With guided or self-guided tours, guests can take in a breathtaking view of the dam and the Columbia River Valley from the dam crest at 175 metres above the river.
