Following direction from the BC Energy Plan, BC Hydro is undertaking consultation with communities, stakeholders, First Nations and property owners directly impacted by the potential project as part of Stage 2 consultation. 

Stage 2 Public Consultation

Stage 2 consultation began with Pre-Consultation and was followed by two rounds of Project Definition Consultation that took place within the Peace region and throughout the province.

First Nations

BC Hydro is consulting directly with First Nations in areas surrounding the potential project in a parallel, separate, process from public consultation.

Property Owners & Leaseholders

BC Hydro is consulting with property owners and leaseholders in the Peace River area to provide information on the potential project and potential impacts to their properties and leased lands.
