For F2006, BC Hydro's energy costs are influenced primarily by the volume of energy consumed and the mix of sources of supply. The mix of sources of supply is influenced by variables such as the market price of energy, water inflows, reservoir levels, energy demand, and environmental and social impacts.
Gigawatt-hours (GWh) and Dollars per GWh have been restated to include gas trading.
