New underground transmission line schedule

Generally, crews will be undertaking activities in the city streets Mondays through Saturdays (7 a.m. to 8 p.m.). They will work Sundays if required (10 a.m. to 6 p.m. unless a noise bylaw exemption is granted for an earlier start time and/or a later finish time).

Some 24-hour work inside the underground cable vaults at some locations may be required in summer 2012 to reduce traffic impacts.

Inside most of the cable vaults steel supports will be installed followed by the cables being pulled into the cable vaults. The last step will be the jointing of the cables inside the cable vaults.
