Your Personal Profile
When you register, you select your own user ID and password. The only way to access any account information is by entering the valid user ID and your password. Access is denied after five invalid entries.
You also provide a security question and answer. You will be asked this if you ever forget your password or need to call us for assistance.
To ensure your privacy, please do not share your password with others.
All information you provide us is protected by our privacy policy.
Your Accounts
The only way to gain online access to your BC Hydro account is to provide information that can only be found on one of your last two BC Hydro bills. This information includes your Account number, the Bill Date and the corresponding Bill Amount.
A letter will be sent via Canada Post confirming each individual BC Hydro account registered for online billing.
