BC Hydro strives to ensure all employees work with clear expectations, receive meaningful feedback on their performance as well as appropriate outcomes for that performance.
The M&P results are based on "active" employees only - 1,557 in fiscal 2008 and 1,828 in fiscal 2009. Anomalies such as retirees whose work is project-based and who do not establish a performance plan are regarded as active would account for the remaining one to two per cent.
Work is currently underway to track COPE & IBEW completion. Anecdotal evidence coupled with random sampling indicates a high degree of completion (80 per cent or greater).
