Mr. Brown is President of Canaccord Genuity, Inc., the US Capital Markets division of Canaccord Financial. He oversees operations in Boston, New York, San Francisco and Houston and leads a team of 165 capital market professionals focused on equity research, institutional sales and trading, and investment banking for growth companies in the areas of sustainability, energy, technology and life sciences. He is based in Boston and maintains an office in New York.
Mr. Brown is a graduate with distinction of McGill University (B.A.), is a Chartered Business Valuator (a member of The Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators), has served on the National Advisory Committee for the Toronto Stock Exchange Group and is a member of the Young President's Organization.
Mr. Brown will serve on BC Hydro's Board, until September 30, 2013.
