2012 Annual Report

BC Hydro's vision is to power B.C. with clean, reliable electricity for generations. The fiscal 2012 Annual Report is a reflection of the F2011/12-2013/14 Service Plan [PDF, 2.0 MB] and the Shareholder's Letter of Expectation.

It contains three key components: the performance narrative, the results of our Service Plan measures and the audited Financial Results and Management Discussion and Analysis. It looks back at the year taking a social, environmental and financial perspective, while benchmarking our performance against other organizations.

We invite you to read the report and we welcome your feedback on the content. This report is produced for web-access only. Please feel free to download a copy from the website. No print copies are available in an effort to reduce the costs associated with reporting and to reduce our environmental footprint.

BC Hydro/GRI Comparative Index

BC Hydro aligns its performance indicators, where possible, to the internationally recognized sustainability reporting guidelines developed through the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). To evaluate how well we are performing in comparison to GRI, we developed an alignment index scorecard. Each performance measure on the index provides a link to the detailed information pertaining to that measure and an alignment code showing how well the measure compares to the most applicable GRI measure.
