Charges & fees for connections
Connection costs
For secondary voltage (750V and less) electrical connections, you must pay a standard charge for the installation of a meter and wire/cable between BC Hydro infrastructure and your meter base, wiring or switch if applicable.
If additional infrastructure is required, you may also pay an extension fee. The extension fee may include the cost of poles, transformers, wire/cable, ductwork and other charges. Learn more.
