As a member of the BC Hydro Alliance of Energy Professionals, stay up to date with our free online courses, webinars, and events designed to help you learn about the Alliance, BC Hydro programs, industry trends, and how to help your customers access incentives.

Alliance Industry Trend Series

The Alliance Industry Trend Series began in 2018, featuring guest speakers exploring an array of interesting industry topics and emerging trends. Each session is followed by a program update from the Alliance group. In addition to gaining insight on industry trends and program updates, these events are a great opportunity to network with others in the industry. Breakfast will be provided.

LED Horticulture Lighting

BC Hydro's Senior Engineer, David Rogers, will deliver an introduction to horticultural lighting, explain why BC Hydro considers it an emerging technology, review the new DLC horticultural lighting standards, and discuss moving forward with LED horticultural lighting. The presentation will be followed by a program update from the Alliance team.

Measurement & Verification Training

Eric Snelling, Sr. Engineer of BC Hydro Measurement and Verification (M&V), will be providing an overview of BC Hydro's M&V process, including options, a summary of industrial results, and a case study. The presentation will be followed by a program update.

This training session is intended for Industrial Consulting Engineers.
