New program tools available to Alliance members
From incentive estimators to lighting calculators, members get some help
Thank you to those who completed the recent Alliance of Energy Professionals member survey, and for your suggestions and feedback. We want you to have better tools as you work with our programs, and we're excited to share some news on that front.
Incentive estimators — industrial incentives & product incentives for commercial customers
Members have made it clear that our most popular programs should be easier to use. So we've developed an incentive estimator for industrial lighting and compressed air incentives, and we'll add one for commercial product incentives later this summer.
Here's how it works:
- Enter the customer's BC Hydro account number into the Business Program Eligibility Tool to determine which program your customer is eligible for. Customers are eligible for either SIP or PSX, not both.
- For industrial incentives quotes, complete the lighting calculator [MS Excel, 793 KB] prior to using the incentive estimator.
- Log into the industrial incentives application system, select Program Tools and enter project details to determine the estimated incentive amount.
Look for details and training for the commercial product incentives estimator in July.
Lighting calculator — Commercial New Construction
For New Construction projects, use the latest version of the lighting calculator tool [MS Excel, 439 MB] to document energy-efficient design and calculate capital incentive. Questions? Watch the new, step-by-step video guide for guidance on how to complete the lighting calculator correctly.
Energy study proposals — Energy-Saving Leaders
Engineering consultants are reminded to download the updated energy study proposal template for all commercial and industrial submissions. The template is the same for both commercial and industrial energy studies.
