Three programs available, depending on the size of your business
BC Hydro offers a variety of Power Smart incentives to help you achieve energy efficiency. But how do you know which program is right for you?

Incentive programs are generally structured around the size — in terms of electricity consumption — of your business. The amount of electricity you use per year determines your program eligibility.

Incentive programs for industrial customers
The table below is a quick-start comparison of three Power Smart incentive programs that industrial customers can access:
- Product Incentive Program: a prescriptive rebate program for the smaller industrial business; submit application after completing a project.
- Self-Serve Incentive Program: incentives calculated by BC Hydro for medium to large-sized industrial customers; application must be submitted and approved prior to start of project.
- Project Incentives — Distribution: larger industrial retrofits; application must be submitted and approved prior to start of project.
