We're making it easier for business customers to start, move or cancel service to their business. Beginning November 1, 2013, we will no longer accept business moving requests via fax. Instead you will now be able to get your business moving online.

Make your move online

Need service to your business? Moving or want to close your business account? Submit an online business moving request. Business customers or property managers responsible for multiple accounts can also submit an online request to add or close multiple accounts at a time. Please have your business contact information and account number (if you have one) ready.

Why we're eliminating fax

Our customers have made it clear they want more online self-service tools to manage their accounts. The ability to submit your moving request online gives you greater security, flexibility and control over your account.

If you need to send BC Hydro any documentation such as rental property agreements, pre-authorized payment details or any other service-related form, please scan your document and email us.

We're still here to help

While we will no longer accept fax submissions for business moves, invoices, payments and other inquiries, you can reach us if you need our help. Contact us online or by phone at 1 800 224 9376.

Use MyHydro to manage your account online

A growing number of BC Hydro customers regularly use MyHydro to manage their account. With MyHydro you can

  • See an enhanced view of your accounts list with account balance totals. Simply click on the account number to view your bills and payment history
  • Link more than one business or residential account to your MyHydro Profile
  • Track your detailed electricity use

Please note new business accounts may not be automatically linked to your MyHydro profile. Please allow five to seven days for your request to be processed and then log in to MyHydro to link new accounts or unlink closed accounts.
