The Participants
On July 15, 2010, 14 proponents registered 19 projects representing between 3,500 to 5,000 GWh per year of electricity.
On October 28, 2010, 10 of those proponents submitted proposals for 13 projects representing over 3,300 GWh per year of electricity.
On January 20, 2011, 8 projects were selected from five preferred proponents representing approximately 1,600 GWh per year of electricity.
On August 4, 2011, BC Hydro selected four projects from two proponents for the award of Electricity Purchase Agreements ("EPA"). The projects represent approximately 754 GWh per year of contractually firm electricity.
