Moving your BC Hydro service is easy

You've found a new home. Now leave the complicated stuff to us. Follow these steps below to start, stop or move your service.

Move

For existing residential customers moving to a new address, follow the steps below.

You will need the following details to move services online
  Your new address and phone number
If you are renting, your landlord's name and phone number
BC Hydro charges $12.40 + HST to set up service at a new location – this fee will appear on your first bill

 

Moving can be stressful – so we've made it as easy as possible.

 

If you already have an online profile with BC Hydro, enter your username and password, and Log in. If you don't have an online profile yet, you can sign up here. You'll need a copy of your last paper bill.
