Power Smart Alliance and Trade Allies

The Power Smart Alliance and Trade Allies comprise a province-wide network of independent lighting and electrical contractors, mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, and manufacturers and distributors of energy-efficient products who share BC Hydro's commitment to energy savings.

As a member of the Alliance and Trade Allies, manufacturers and distributors benefit by having:

• Products showcased on our e.Catalog – a one-stop online resource where customers can find energy-efficient products in B.C., and products specifically eligible for the Power Smart Product Incentive Program.
• Increased exposure and credibility of the company and product line through association with BC Hydro.
• Access to tools, seminars and workshops to help you promote energy-efficient technologies.
• Access to the latest news and information on Power Smart.
• Rewards for completing specific energy-related activities.

Eligibility and registration

To become part of the network, manufacturers and distributors must meet eligibility criteria and register with the Alliance and Trade Allies.

The eligibility criteria are established by an advisory council, and ensure that members meet specific expertise, performance qualifications and business experience. There are no registration costs.
