Just 18 months out of school, Kid Carson scored a gig at KISS 92 in Toronto. Three years later, he headed West to host his
first morning show at Vancouver's The Beat 94.5, and for the past two years the readers of TV WEEK have voted him "Favourite
Radio Personality."… Every year, Carson commits time to helping events and organizations that assist families in need. It's
something he can relate to on a personal level, since he describes himself as "the typical kid from a poor single-parent family."
… As a consequence, he has devoted himself to civic and charitable campaigns, such as several stints living round-the-clock
in a mall for a week on behalf of the Salvation Army to raise toys and money for kids at Christmas… On his personal time,
Carson has a thing for tattoos and fast cars, but also loves to take it easy on the beach all summer. And living on the West
Coast, you can bet that wintertime finds Carson enjoying his favourite pastime: snowboarding.
