BC Hydro has launched Team Power Smart, and encourages all British Columbians to work  together to use electricity more efficiently and to conserve energy wherever possible. We all need to use energy more wisely to meet our province's growing electricity needs.

Team Power Smart is for everyone who wants to help our province become energy self-sufficient, reduce our impact on the environment, and save money. Thousands have already joined, pledging to reduce their use of electricity by 10%.

What you need

• Refer to one of your two most recent BC Hydro bills
• Enter the following:
  • account number
  • billing date
  • $ amount
• Log in...

Add your BC Hydro account online

Anyone who receives a BC Hydro bill can register it online and see the actual change in their electricity use. Within a few minutes you will receive a confirmation email enabling you to view your account details, turn off paper billing, and learn more about saving with great conservation tools and tips.

If you have lived in your home less than a year you won't be able to compare your use to your previous history. You will still benefit by reducing your energy consumption and realizing dollar savings.

• Add home type, size & number of people living in your home 
• Tell us how you heat your home & hot water
• Have one (1) year of consumption history
