Robert Fung
Salient Group president
Robert Fung is one of the Lower Mainland's most successful real estate developers. After years with the innovative Concord Pacific group, he struck out on his own and co-founded the Salient Group, of which he is currently company president. A graduate in anthropology from the University of Western Ontario, Fung is keenly interested in the renovation of heritage buildings, urban redevelopment and social sustainability. Success in these fields guarantees his position on Vancouver Magazine's Power 50, an annual ranking of the city's most influential citizens. Among his many multicultural pursuits is his involvement with the Canadian International Dragon Boat Festival Society, which holds a hugely popular event on False Creek each year.
