Image of Martin NashBorn in Regina and raised in Victoria, Martin Nash – brother of NBA superstar Steve Nash – is a veteran of nine seasons with the Vancouver Whitecaps soccer squad. He now serves as a scout and youth coach.

He holds the distinction of being the club's all-time ironman, passing the then-record of 69 consecutive games in 2006, and finishing with a record of 77 before retiring after the 2010 season

Nash's career with the Whitecaps spanned nine seasons over the past 14 years, with intervening stints playing for Rochester Raging Rhinos and the Montreal Impact, plus a couple of seasons in England. He has also represented Canada in some 38 international matches. He and his wife Emma have two children.
