Andrea NeilAndrea Neil is one of those natural athletes who has excelled at a variety of sports ever since her high school years at Prince of Wales Secondary School in Vancouver. The 5-foot-8 Neil was an under-18 national badminton champion before devoting her attention to soccer, soon becoming a two-time All Canadian with the UBC Thunderbirds, whose coaching staff she later joined. She made Canada's national team in 1991, representing this country at numerous international tournaments and later turned pro for the Vancouver Whitecaps women's team as a midfielder with a wicked free kick. Neil hung up her jersey in 2007 and is currently Assistant Coach of the Canadian Women’s Under-20 National Soccer Team.
