TachometerData collection is the only way to understand if your plant is operating efficiently. The Metering & Instrumentation Lending Library (MILL) provides metering and instrumentation equipment, free of charge, to help you uncover energy-saving opportunities.

Our equipment will show you where energy is being lost, pinpoint systems and processes that can be shifted to off-peak hours, and identify which equipment is not performing efficiently.

The MILL is currently available to industrial electricity users who spend more than $200,000 annually on electricity.

How it works

If you are interested in using some of our equipment, contact your Key Account Manager to obtain a tool request form for the equipment you need. BC Hydro will ship the equipment to you for a three-month loan period. We also offer installation support and access to energy conservation experts all at no cost to you.
