Through the Power Smart Partner Program, eligible organizations have access to a variety of tools and resources to improve productivity, reduce energy and reduce maintenance costs.

Among the resources and tools offered by the Power Smart Partner programs are:

Tools to identify your organization's opportunities:

Energy Study: A comprehensive look at a facility's energy using systems, with detailed recommendations.
Energy Management Assessment: An Energy Management Assessment workshop.
Energy Manager Online: Information about the Energy Manager Program, and resources for Energy Managers.

Funding and support to implement energy efficiency measures:

Project Implementation Fund: Power Smart Partners access incentive funds to help them implement energy efficiency projects.
Data Centre & Server Initiative: Methods and tools available to consolidate data servers, allowing fewer units to perform the functions of several.
High-Bay Lighting Initiative: An initiative to help you identify, design, and install more effective and energy-efficient lighting in high-bay facilities.

Behavioural and organizational programs:

Workplace Conservation Awareness: A program that will help you build your own Power Smart Employee Energy Awareness program.
Continuous Optimization Program for Commercial Buildings: A program that assists commercial building owners in retrocommissioning their building, then helps maintain and continually improve the level of efficiency in their building operations.

In addition to initiatives within the Power Smart Partner Program, businesses should be aware of Power Smart’s New Construction Program. It offers incentives, resources, and technical assistance to help developers of new commercial and multi-unit residential building projects.

Who's eligible for the Power Smart Partner Program?

If your organization is commercial, government and institutional, you can become a Power Smart Partner if you spend at least $50,000 annually on electricity. Show your commitment to energy conservation by signing a pledge and starting to integrate a sustainable energy conservation management approach into your business.
